Location: Iowa City, IA Shift: 1st Shift Work model: Remote Schedule: PARTTIME; Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Job overview: Schneider is seeking a temporary Inside Sales Assistant enrolled at the University of Iowa to assist the Inside Sales Team within Schneider's Transportation Management (STM) division. The Inside Sales Assistant will create and track freight, set appointments and develop relationships with customers. Responsibilities: Learn and apply Schneider's sales process. Prospect for new customers. Create and track orders. Negotiate rates with carriers. Communicate with customers on the status of loads. Opportunities: Networking events with Schneider associates. Professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders. Business resource groups meetings and events. Skills and qualifications: Currently enrolled at University of Iowa.
