All while earning up to -$12,000 or more! This position starts early to mid May 2020 and ends mid December 2020. Ability to extend throughout the spring 2021 based upon performance.
As a sales intern, you will not be stuck in an office but instead you will be going around town building relationships with local restaurant owners. Over the summer you will be working full-time selling Hooked to popular restaurants near your university. As part of the signup process, you will be negotiating with restaurant owners to provide the best deals to Hooked users. You'll work independently over summer but in close communication with our Sales Director with weekly calls. You'll also have group calls each week with students from other universities across the country in order to learn from one another and grow as a team. Before launch, you'll assist in the process of recruiting, interviewing, and hiring a team of marketing representatives to help grow Hooked in your college town.Throughout the Fall, you will be responsible for scheduling free food marketing events with our restaurant partners and coordinating the execution of the events with our marketing team, as well as continuing signing up more restaurants on the Hooked app.We're looking for someone who is excited to be recognized as the one who brought Hooked to their city!Graduating senior? This internship could lead to earning a full-time position with Hooked for summer 2021 when you graduate!Desired Skills--- Able to dedicate a minimum of 40 hrs/wk during summer with little to no other obligations throughout the summer; and 10- 15 hrs/wk throughout the Fall & Spring Semesters--- Persuasive speaker and persistent personality--- Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks--- Personable & professional demeanor, as you will be dealing with restaurant owners and representing Hooked--- Receptive to constructive criticism and willing to try new methods--- You will be accomplishing and hitting sales tasks and targets that are critical to launching Hooked on your campus. You will need to be confident, pragmatic and extremely self motivated--- Must be living in your college city during the summer break--- Must not have any other time commitments (classes, jobs, etc) over summer
