** This requisition represents multiple Custodian I openings within the department. By applying to this requisition, you will have the opportunity to be considered for all available Custodian I openings within this department.** University Housing & Dining at the University of Iowa is seeking to hire multiple Custodian I positions to provide safe, clean, and healthy environments in allresidence halls . University Housing & Dining is currently offering a $2,000 recruitment bonus for new external Custodian Ihires which is paid on the first monthly paycheck after 30 days of employment.Current UI employees are not eligible for sign-on incentive. Duties to include:

• Floor work including vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing and buffing
• Clean and provide service to all horizontal and vertical surfaces including glass, walls, ceilings and light fixtures;working at elevated heights is required
• Clean, sanitize and disinfect all restroom surfacesThe shift for these positions is 7:30AM to 4:00PM. Will workevery other weekendwith rotating days off. May work occasional overtime to cover absences and peak periods of operation. Possible locations for these openings include:

      • 6 months' experience working as a laborer.
      • 3 months of professional custodial experience.
      • Experience performing labor-intensive work in a residence hall, apartment complex, hotel, hospital, nursing home, or similar residential facility.ApplicationDetails:
