Combat Test and Training Hybrid: Employees who are working in
Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of
time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your
leader. The Air Combat Test and Training (ACTT) engineering
department is responsible for the design, analysis, test and
certification of Air Combat Test and Training systems. We solve the
challenges of next-generation pilot proficiency training so they
can ---Train as they Fight---. We field Test and Training range
systems with state-of-the-art technology in cryptography,
datalinks, navigation, communication, networking and command and
control. We specialize in highly accurate, highly secure solutions
for U.S. Navy and Airforce customers. We are a system of systems
development team that designs, integrates, and supports some of the
largest, most complex solutions offered by Collins Aerospace. Our

Our ACTT Enterprise Range Systems team, is looking for a Senior
Systems Engineer with systems and project engineering experience.
We have a growing team comprised of systems engineers and TPM---s,
where mentor/mentee relationships are a key component of our
knowledge sharing. This positions is aligned with the development
of systems domain knowledge with a growth mindset towards future
role as Technical Project Manager (TPM) or Value Stream Leader
(VSL). The systems team is responsible from the requirements
capture phase with the customer, through development and
verification, and to final installation and test at the customer
ranges. Our team supports the interoperability of the Common Range
Integrate Instrumentation (CRIIS) and Tactical Combat Training
System (TCTS) Inc. II systems at the customer ranges to support the
vision of --- Any Pod, Any Range, Any Mission---. This position is
located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A comprehensive relocation package
is available for qualified candidates. Core Responsibilities:
Systems requirements decomposition, integration, and test with the
focus on enabling our customers to be successful in their missions
Act as Product Owner (PO) or Release Train Engineering (RTE) for
the systems team in the Agile Framework Support of Design Approach
Reviews and roadmapping strategies Support bid and proposal efforts
related to the systems development efforts Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor---s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is
required Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior
relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have or be capable of obtaining a US
Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected
will be subject to a government security
investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
Previous systems or project management experience. Communicating
effectively to a host of stakeholders across the technical
spectrum, including customers. Preferred Qualifications:
Requirements capture in DOORs or JAMA Program development within
the Agile Framework Collins Management System (CMS) experience
through different Gate reviews. Project management experience with
Earned Value, Integrated Master Schedules, Risk and Opportunity
Management Strive to consistently produce superior results, keeping
project milestones on schedule and contributing to a positive work

and through technology Motivated self-starter with strong
