Job Title: IT Technician/Smart HandsLocation: Iowa City, IADuration: Project estimated to run 2-3+ months with potential extensionPay Rate: $20-22/hr. (higher/negotiable based on experience)Summary:Verigent's client is looking for an IT Technician to assist with a VoIP phone project in and around Iowa City, IA. This position will consist of unboxing and placing phone systems on desks.Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and provide documentation of VoIP phone systems.
• Perform cross connects/patch cord installs during phone placement process.Qualifications:
  • Understanding of basic phone features.
  • Basic knowledge of VoIP phone systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read floor plans and update required documentation.
  • Strong customer facing skills required.
  • The ability to multitask required.
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel highly preferred.Upon meeting eligibility criteria, Verigent offers the following benefits:
