*IOWA SELECT FARMS JOB DESCRIPTION**TITLE: Bilingual Human
Resource Specialist**REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources**LAST
REVISION DATE: 12/2022**PURPOSE OF POSITION: *To assist in the
day-to-day functions of business operations by carrying out various
human resources programs and procedures for the benefit of the
company and all employees. This person will also translate
documents, presentations and assist with training and recruiting

Adhere to Iowa Select Farms bio-security policy at all times which

all times and partner with the Production Well-being team in a
timely manner if an incident occurs*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND
RESPONSIBILITIES** Process incoming online and paper applications*
Schedule and complete interviews involving manger and supervisor
when necessary* Prescreen candidates* Onboard new employees in
English and Spanish orientations* Complete new hire paperwork and
coordinate start dates and locations* Assist with scheduling
flights or travel for onboarding TN and/or H2A visa employees*
Maintain compliance files for employees working with a TN and/or
H2A visa* Assist with housing and transportation processes for
employees working with TN and/or H2A visa* Maintain and file
electronic and paper employee records* Maintain confidentiality of
all information and records* Establish, maintain and audit files*

Records* E-Verify I9 Employment Verification* Criminal Background
Checks* Resolve employee issues through phone conversations and
site visits using bilingual skills* Assist the Leave Coordinator in
addressing workers compensation and other medical situations using
bilingual skills* Develop, maintain and update necessary documents
in Spanish language* SOP's, Competencies, Dictionary, Manuals,
Handbook* Company documents and PowerPoints* Assist with training
and developmental programs - HR training days, PPA, PLP, Safety,
PQA-Plus, TQA, Manager meetings using bilingual skills* Assist with
receptionist duties at the front desk as a backup and on lunch
rotations* Attend company promotional events* Attend staffing and
regular HR team meetings to give updates and assist in developing
department goals* Demeanor is expected to be always positive and
professional while being helpful, friendly and respectful to team
members and management personal.* Daily focus should be on success
of the company, not personal issues.* Be at work on scheduled days
and ready to work by given start time as attendance is critical to
the success of this position.* Other duties as assigned by
supervisor.*LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES** Collaboration Skills: Working
with appropriate support departments to determine best solution or
when a policy violation occurs.* Communication Proficiency: This
position will work closely with mangers, supervisors, support
departments, external individuals, etc. so strong written and
verbal communication skills are vital.* Problem Solving:
Independently work through issues that may arise approaching ever
situation with the best possible decision while reaching out
appropriately when additional guidance is needed.* Time Management

are essential.*SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** No direct supervisory
responsibilities for this position.*WORK ENVIRONMENT** This
position is performed indoors routinely using standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets
and fax machines.*PHYSICALITY REQUIREMENTS** The physical demands
described here are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the
job.* Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or
feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb
stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch orcrawl; talk or hear.*
Theemployee must be able to continuously repeat necessary movements
such as bending, lifting and different hand movements as needed to
complete tasks* Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds
and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.* Specific vision
abilities required by the job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the
ability to adjust focus.* The employee must have the ability to sit
for long periods of time and to maintain focus on projects such as
computer screens or detailed paperwork.*POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED
HOURS OF WORK** This is a full-time position with the expected days
of Monday-Friday* Additional availability may be required during
staffing challenges*TRAVEL** Travel may be on occasion for work
related visits and/or meetings with the utilization of a company
vehicle*EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and OTHER QUALIFICATIONS** College
Degree and/or experience in Human Resources, preferably in an
ag-related field* Must be fully proficient in English and Spanish,
