Bridgeview Community Mental Health Center invites licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians to join our clinical community as independent contractors , where you can focus on quality care while benefiting from established infrastructure, referrals, and professional collaboration. Benefits 1099 independent contractors do not qualify for any benefits of any kind. Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is based on clinical services provided. Contractors working a consistent caseload often earn approximately $65,000 annually , depending on licensure level, client volume, and payer mix. Bridgeview provides referrals, billing support, EHR access, AI-assisted documentation tools, office space, and administrative infrastructure, allowing contractors to focus on clinical care rather than business operations. Role Overview Independent Contractor Therapists provide outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and/or adults. Clinical Services Conduct mental health evaluations and establish diagnoses Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions Complete discharge planning and clinical summaries C Collaboration & Coordination Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, and community resources Support continuity of care and appropriate transitions Documentation & Compliance Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation using the agency’s EHR Adhere to legal, ethical, and professional standards, as well as documentation requirements associated with insurance and regulatory guidelines Requirements: Requirements for an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist: Education & Licensure · Therapist I o Master’s degree in a mental health field (psychology, counseling, psychiatric nursing, social work, etc.). o Current, unrestricted initial license (tLMHC, LMSW, LPC, LSW) in Iowa or Illinois, depending on work location. · Therapist II o Master’s degree in a mental health field (psychology, counseling, psychiatric nursing, social work, etc.). o Current, unrestricted independent license (LISW, LMHC, LCPC, LCSW) in Iowa or Illinois, depending on work location. Experience & Skills · Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and ability to learn other software. · Ability to physically attend to children in moments of difficulty.
