Experience: 24 Months in Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele Required License:
Active Iowa/IA License or Compact/Multistate Required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (preferred), De-Escalation
Certificate (highly preferred) Must-Have: - 24 months of current
Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele experience - Comfortably and confidently
read EKG/ECG, including rhythm strips and dysrhythmia reads -
Experience with Drips: heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone,
diltizem, digoxin - EPIC EMR experience Description: Quickly
interviewing viable candidates. Orientation includes a Basic
Dysrhythmia Assessment, with a passing score of 80% during
onboarding. The unit accommodates a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and
has a bed size of 130. Nurses may float to different departments as
needed. Candidates must have experience handling crucial drips. The
position will require weekend shifts, including every other
holiday. Experience in hospital or medical center settings will be
prioritized. Professional references should be from a charge nurse,
supervisor, or similar role within the last 24 months. A
De-Escalation Certificate and NIH Stroke Scale certificate can be
