Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/21/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • 24 months of operating room experience in a hospital or medical center setting required • Experience and proficiency required in orthopedics, neurology, general surgery, gynecology, urology, breast surgery, and plastics • Experience and proficiency in operating DaVinci robotics for above surgical cases required • EPIC charting experience preferred (training provided if needed) • Scrub experience preferred • Must have minimum 3 months of current travel experience within the previous 18 months • No first-time travelers accepted • On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and every 4th-5th weekend • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) • Iowa nursing license required (compact/multistate accepted) • Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse discipline required • Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months required • Valid driver's license required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department with advanced technology including DaVinci robotic surgical systems.
