Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse Therapist (RNT) to join our dynamic team. This
role is pivotal in providing both clinical nursing and
rehabilitation therapy to our patients across our network of
inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health services. Our
mission is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare in
the communities we serve. Assess patient health problems and needs,
develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical
records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or
disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and
disease prevention or provide case management. Provide direct
clinical services according to treatments specified in patient
plans under the supervision of a physician. Monitor, record, and
report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions while
maintaining accurate patient records. Act as a liaison between
patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure
patient-centered care. Collaborate with rehabilitation team to
implement therapeutic interventions and regimens. Participate in
clinical research projects in compliance with facility protocols.
Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on patient care. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both
independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency
in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong organizational
and case management abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of practice. Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN)
preferred. CPR and BLS certification.
