Job Description:
The University of Iowa Department of Otolaryngology is seeking
faculty for a position in our Pediatric Otolaryngology Division.
Appointment rank may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate
Professor, or Professor level and to either the tenure track or
clinical (non-tenure) track consistent with clinical experience and
research interest. Department of Otolaryngology Founded in 1922,
the department is one of the oldest in the United States and one of
the most Founded in 1922, the Department of Otolaryngology at the
University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is one of the oldest in
the United States and one of the most comprehensive in the world.
Our department is situated in the largest university-owned teaching
hospital in the country. For almost two decades, U.S. News and
World Report ranked our otolaryngology department amongst the top
in the country. Even more than our rankings, our department prides
itself on its highest standards of patient care. For this we credit
the balance that we strike between clinical work, training, and
research. Each of these elements contributes to a thorough and
compassionate approach to patient care. Required Qualifications: -
MD or DO degree (or foreign graduate equivalent) - Licensure (or
eligibility for licensure) in the state of Iowa - Completion of an
ACGME-accredited residency - Fellowship trained in Pediatric
Otolaryngology - Board certified or board eligible in
Otolaryngology - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and
eligible to hold an appointment in the Veterans Affairs Health Care
System - Applicants must have demonstrated a high level of
