Pharmacy Technician, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate
what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively
contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement.
As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers'
prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves
prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from
computer system. Work Hours: 7:00AM - 6:00PM CST Location: Iowa
City, IA Primary Responsibilities:
- Customer onboarding
- Prescription requests
- Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to
fulfillment for delivery
- assist with operations support, training, and process
improvements
- Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and
team content
- Creation/ routing of pharmacy orders through receipt
- Review and verification of members'/patients'
prescriptions
- Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit
prescription orders in computer system
- May contact members/patients/providers to validate data,
request payment information and establish priority of order or
delivery details General Job Profile:

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience
as a Pharmacy Technician
- Current Pharmacy Technician state license OR National
Certification without restrictions based on regulatory requirements
