Director - Data, Analytics, and Insights - University of Iowa
The University of Iowa is seeking a professional who has experience
providing strategic guidance and overall direction for analytical
efforts and will be responsible for leading the Data, Analytics,
and Insights (DAI) workgroup. The person in this role will shape
campus data culture by actively collaborating with campus
stakeholders to identify opportunities, creating comprehensive
strategies, and delivering data analytics solutions that enable
strategic transformations. - The Director of DAI is responsible for
strategic leadership and oversight of the University's data
ecosystem, including data strategy, data engineering/operations,
data analytics, business intelligence, and data governance - all to
advance the University's data culture and impactful use of
institutional data. The successful candidate will be accomplished
at discovering solutions hidden in institutional data,
leading/mentoring data professionals, and creating collaborative
relationships. This position is eligible for a combination of
on-campus and remote work. Work arrangement options will be
discussed during the hiring process. This person will report to the
Executive Director of Administrative Information Systems (AIS). We
