around the globe. This Principal Manufacturing Electrical Engineer
role is a senior technical position with broad factory
influence—owning complex manufacturing and test challenges, shaping
process strategy, and driving cross-functional alignment. You’ll
operate as a trusted technical leader within operations, with
direct impact on production stability, quality performance, and
program execution. What You Will Do Serve as a senior technical
authority for electrical manufacturing and test processes
supporting complex aerospace electronics Own resolution of the most
complex and systemic electrical, test, and yield issues impacting
cost, quality, and delivery Lead multi-disciplinary root cause and
corrective action (RCCA) efforts, including coordination across
Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams Define
and implement manufacturing and test process improvements with
measurable impact to yield, cycle time, and defect reduction
Provide technical leadership during new product introduction (NPI),
production transitions, and major engineering changes Partner with
Design Engineering to influence design-for-manufacturing and
design-for-test decisions Serve as a technical mentor and reviewer
for lower-level manufacturing and test engineers Lead evaluation,
selection , and implementation of electrical test equipment,
tooling, and capital investments Support internal and external
audits, customer interactions, and program reviews as a
manufacturing technical representative Ensure sustained compliance
with Collins Aerospace processes, customer requirements, and
applicable aerospace standards (AS9100, ESD) What You Will Learn

expertise Best practices for scaling robust electrical and test

leadership to drive business outcomes Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or
an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of
experience Engineering experience supporting manufacturing,
production, or operations E xperience in electronics manufacturing,
electrical test, and factory troubleshooting Qualifications We
Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical,
Software, or Systems) Active DoD Secret Clearance Aerospace or
defense manufacturing experience Proven ability to influence
cross-functional teams and drive technical decisions without direct
authority Strong communication skills with the ability to present
technical content to engineering and operations leadership
Experience influencing design-for-manufacturing or design-for-test
improvements Expertise with automated test equipment (ATE) or
complex functional test environments Experience leading capital
projects or factory modernization efforts Prior experience serving
as a technical lead, subject matter expert, or program-facing

107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX

a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and
