Job Description Job Description Description: TITLE: Senior Investment Portfolio Analyst DEPARTMENT: Corporate Treasury JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Investment Portfolio Analyst is primarily responsible for the overall management of the private placement municipal bond portfolio, including client service, credit analysis, closing activities, and internal servicing and ongoing monitoring. Secondarily, the Senior Investment Portfolio Analyst will be an integral part of the Company’s Corporate Treasury Team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Timely and accurately complete credit presentations, including analysis of appropriate data per credit policy, bank procedures, and regulatory requirements. Review required credit documentation to ensure loan and bond documents are consistent with credit approval, including appropriate signatures, disclosures, credit authority, and internal system requirements. Oversee pre-closing and post-closing due diligence as required by Credit Policy and credit approval. Monitor compliance with loan and bond agreements to ensure timely receipt and review of financials, covenant compliance, and other conditions. Responsible for internal portfolio management processes including ongoing monitoring and performing appropriate action related to past dues and maturing loans/bonds, communicating with participant banks, and working with internal and external auditors. Present new loans/bonds to the Credit Committee for approval. Build relationships with other Company personnel to facilitate effective working relationships between credit administration and production. Provide timely and effective responses to servicing needs. Assist the Treasurer and Deputy Treasury in: Subsidiary Bank Investment Portfolio Management Asset Liability Management Reporting for: Liquidity Market Risk Capital Derivatives Portfolio Management Internal and External Audit Requests Assist with Corporate Treasury projects, as needed Assist with training and onboarding of new team members. Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position. Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion. Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company’s mission, vision and values. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, business or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or financial services Previous banking and analysis experience preferred. Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize and manage a variety of projects and tasks. Capability to manage sensitive information and uphold confidentiality. Demonstrated strong math skills and ability to organize and analyze complex financial information. Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. WORKING CONDITIONS: Duties are performed in a professional office environment. SALARY & BENEFITS: The minimum salary range for this position is $87,357.37 annually. The actual starting salary will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.
