Business Analyst must be currently located in or around Des Moines, IA to be considered for this position. This position requires the contractor to be onsite 2 days/week.

Business Analyst Required / Desired Skills:
Involvement in prior technology implementations Required 10 Years
Leading requirements gathering and validation with staff - 10 years Required 10 Years
Developing requirements documentation - Use Cases - 10 years Required 10 Years
Testing system functionality against requirements and specifications. Required 10 Years
Training staff on system functionality as developed. Required 10 Years
General technical assistance Required 10 Years
Experience documenting end to end processes Required 10 Years
Background in Finance/Financial projects Required 10 Years
Experience mapping and documenting process flows Required 10 Years
Experience using Atlas Sian Suite - Jira, Confluence, etc. Required 5 Years

Business Analyst will support high profile unemployment insurance modernization initiatives. This individual will be part of a talented team that works on mission-critical applications using Agile methodologies. Projects aims to modernize UI Tax system by re-architecting its components to industry leading architecture and frameworks.
The candidate will be responsible for preparing gathering and validating requirements, preparing requirement and process mapping documentation, and facilitating requirements sessions with business stakeholders and leadership.
